He was a great hero and I could see how even the hardest of hearts could melt under the warmth in his eyes. Don’t have a Kindle? I think I read sometime in the past but just remembered parts of it.

I loved the storyline, the friendships which are such a big part of this story, and every woman who has girlfriends in their lives from grade school will love this.
I received a complimentary copy of sweethavrn book to review. A much deeper story into each person and the scrap booking is perfect way to bring this story together.
Just before losing a battle with cancer, Suzanne Carter wrote letters to childhood friends from her hometown of Sweethaven, Michigan. If you aren’t a scrapbooker its still a great read!

This book made me cry. She raised Campbell as a single mother, never sharing with Campbell who her father was, or much about her childhood. Campbell Carter has come to Sweethaven in search of answers about her mother’s history.
There are no discussion topics on this book yet. I was expecting just a “girly” summer at the beach type story. The death that took place at the beginning drew suummer in. It was also very believable. Mar 28, Dawnmcd sum,er it liked it. Susanne and her three best friends met there every summer—until the year Campbell was conceived. With the help of a handsome local man and her mother’s three friends, Campbell hopes to finally uncover her mother’s twenty-five-year-old secret.
Beautifully written and peopled with characters who became friends, this debut novel is one for my keeper shelf——and, I hope, the first of many to come from Courtney Walsh’s pen.

The dialogue would change from one person to the next, and it would be within the same sentence, a new line or paragraph wouldn’t be started. I can see why this book hit the bestseller list! At first I wasn’t sure I would like this story because it sounded like it could be a bit of a downer, but wow, was I surprised at how much I loved it in sweethavsn end.

The story is perfect is so many ways. It had a great combination of sweet memories, painful trials, family, art, and a little bit of romance too.
Now we find Campbell Carter who is Suzanne’s daughter and is dealing with her mother’s funeral. sjmmer It had me from the beginning. Was I ever surprised. Perhaps a few more details about lives and relationships in the initial setting would have been helpful.
